Zero-Data Collection

FeedFlow does not collect, store, or transmit any personal identification information (PII). We do not use third-party analytics trackers like Firebase, Google Analytics, or Facebook SDK.

On-Device Intelligence

FeedFlow uses Google ML Kit for advanced features (Entity Extraction, Language Detection, and Translation).

• Privacy Assurance: All intelligence processing occurs locally on your device.
• Data Isolation: Your article content and reading habits are never uploaded to Google's clouds or our servers for analysis.
• Model Downloads: ML Kit may connect to Google servers solely to download or update the language models required for these features to function offline.

Local Storage

All your feed subscriptions, bookmarks, and read/unread statuses are stored in a local SQLite (Room) database on your device. This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly perform an OPML Export to a destination of your choice.

Network Connections

FeedFlow establishes the following external connections:

• Feed Refreshing: The app connects directly to the RSS/Atom feed URLs you provide. No middle-man proxy is used.
• Article Previews: Favicons and article images are fetched directly from the source domains using Coil.
• External Links: Clicking on an article will open it in the built-in reader (Clean View) or your system browser. We have no control over the privacy policies of the websites you visit.

Third-Party Services

FeedFlow is open-source and does not integrate with any social media platforms or advertising networks.

INTERNET: Required to download your news feeds and article images.
